This website is owned by Middlesbrough Council. Any information which you send to us through this website, i.e. your personal details when completing the account sign up form, is managed as follows:
1. We will keep information no longer than we reasonably believe is necessary
We keep your data only for as long is required.
To register for an account, you will need to submit your full name, job title, organisation name, and email address via a form on this website. These details are sent directly to Middlesbrough Council’s SEND team for the purpose of creating an account which will give you access to the restricted content in this website. After your account has been created, the email containing your personal details will be deleted. Thereafter, Middlesbrough Council’s records retention policy (regarding retaining of deleted emails) applies. The records retention policy is available on Middlesbrough’s open data website.
The account created for you on this site will contain your full name and email address. Your account will exist until you tell us you no longer need it, for example if your job role changes or you leave your organisation. If you no longer need your account, email sen@middlesbrough.gov.uk. The SEND team will delete your account, and email you to confirm that this has been done.
2. We will use information only for the purpose for which you sent it
The personal data you submit via the website will only be used to create your account in order to access the content which is restricted to SEND professionals. Your email address will also be used to send essential information about your account, for example forgotten password requests.

To improve the user experience of this website we track your activity on this website. This statistical data generated in this way is completely anonymised.
